What Are Project Groups?

This feature was created to help individuals and firms create project groups so they can get performance and stats from those projects. We already surfaced a lot of analytics and stats on the project dashboard level, but we wanted to bring all of this together to understand performance across the company!

If your firm operates with different studios, clients, sectors, etc... project groups will be a great way to see how your projects are performing!

It also helps you organize your projects in a way that works for you!

Why is this data valuable?

Stay in the know ✨

While each project has its own dashboard, it's not an easy task to jump in and see how things are going or catch up with the project team all the time.

By creating project groups, you can get a quick pulse on how things are going. If the response times are in green, you likely don't need to lean in. If the response times are in red, and the volume of documents looks out of the norm, it might be time to check in and support the team.

Win more work! 🎉

Use these stats to show off! When you're looking for new opportunities, putting together a proposal, or building a new client relationship, you can demonstrate how effective your team is. Not only are you efficient because of the software you use, but you have great response times.

Why is this important? The project stays on schedule. If the reviews and responses move quickly, then the consultants are helping the project succeed. Also, no one can claim you are the reason for a delay.

Protect your profits! ✅

It's common knowledge that the profit margin for architects is very slim. It is also common knowledge that projects often exceed their allotted hours during the construction phase.

The next time you put together a proposal you can look back at all of your projects that were similar and see how many documents you had in total. If you pair that with response times, and the average time it takes for changes and other documents, you can get close to an accurate amount of hours in your proposal.

Use the data from the past to help inform your future work!
