Field Reports 'Items'

The Items area gives prime consultants and consultants a centralized view of every item created across your field reports. Instead of digging through multiple reports, you can see everything in one place—making it much easier to track, review, and share key information.

What You Can Do in Items

See all items in one place

  • The Items tab collects all items from your field reports
  • Each entry shows details like title, priority, discipline, who it’s assigned to, area, and creation date.

Click into an item for more detail

  • Select any item to open its full details, including the context of the report it came from.

Export items as a punchlist

  • Use the checkboxes to select the items you want.
  • Click Export to generate a CSV file.
  • The CSV will be emailed to you so you can share it outside Part3 (for example, with your GC).

Step 1: Navigate to Items

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Reports.
  2. At the top, select the Items tab.
  3. You’ll now see a list of all items collected from your field reports!

Step 2: Review Items

  • Each row shows details like:
    • ID number (report number, section, item)
    • Title
    • Priority
    • Related Discipline
    • Assigned To
    • Area
    • Created Date (and Closed Date if applicable)

💡 Tip: IDs are structured as Report.Section.Item (e.g., 1.2.1), so you’ll always know which report an item originated from.

Step 3: Click Into an Item

  • Click on any item’s title to open its details.
  • You’ll see more context about the item, including the original report, which you can click on to go directly to the report.

  2. Once selected, click Export.
  3. A CSV file will be generated and emailed to you.
  4. You can share this CSV directly with your GC or anyone else who needs the punchlist.
