RFI Revision Request

We understand that RFIs can go back and forth between the Consultants and the General Contractor.

  • Maybe there wasn't enough information in the RFI to provide a clear answer.
  • Maybe there wasn't enough information in the response for the GC to move forward.

Note: The Prime Consultant and the General Contractors both have the ability to request a revision.

Step 1: Click 'Revise' in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Select who you want to notify about the revision request, and fill out the Revision notes section.

Step 3: Click the blue 'Request revision' button at the bottom of the pop-up.

The RFI will now be reopened and given a revision number (ie, RFI.X). You will see an orange bar appear to let you know a revision has been requested, and it will display the revision notes.

To go back to the previous version, click the ' here' button in the dark blue bar.

After this revision is requested, the normal response process continues ( read more here about responding to RFIs).
