How to create pricing documents

In this article, we'll cover the different ways that pricing documents (aka quotes) can be created in Part3.

Pricing documents can be created in two ways:

  1. Created by the Prime Consultant or General Contractor
    1. This would then be linked back to the initiating documents (read more here)
  2. Created from existing documents.

Creating a New Pricing Document

A new pricing document can be created by either the General Contractor or Prime Consultant role.

Step 1: In your Project, click on the '+' button in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select Pricing, or the Display Name you specified in the Cover page settings.

Step 3: A pop-up will appear for you to enter basic information about the Pricing document/Quote. The number will automatically populate based on the next available number in the project, but you can override that if necessary.

Step 4: When you are finished filling out the field, click the blue 'Create' button.

Your document will now be in DRAFT mode until additional details of the pricing request are provided.
