Annotations and Mark-ups in Part3

Annotating and reviewing drawings within Part3 is easy with our collaborative markup tool. This facilitates an efficient and collaborative process on all document types within Part3.

Stamps

If you are an assigned consultant, you'll be able to apply static stamps using the button below.

To learn how to set up your own stamps in your account, click here.

Step 1: Click the stamp icon in the top right corner of the PDF viewer.
Step 2: Select which stamp you want to apply to the PDF. You can locate the stamp on the PDF, resize it, and move it as needed.

Full-Screen Mode

Click the 'View Controls' icon in the top left corner of the PDF and select 'Full Screen'.


Tool Types

Click the quick menu to alternate between different types of tools. You can apply text, shapes, comment boxes, your signature, measure by setting your scale, etc..


Notes for other Consultants

Use the notes function in the PDF viewer to leave notes for other users. These will appear on the right-hand side. For example, "Hey Matt, does this product meet our LEED requirements?"

Use this feature to reduce emails, track history and decisions made, and ultimately - be more efficient!

You can delete the notes before you return the documents if you do not want them to be seen on the final PDF that is distributed.
